JAIME SEWARD - Painter
Passion and patience are obvious in Seward's work. Her intuitiveness and professional determination combine to make her an artist of impressive talent. Her award winning work has been proudly displayed in many juried one-artist shows and also group shows across Canada. Seward is well schooled in all media, well known for her watercolors, and is currently experimenting with acrylic (using a watercolor method). |

She has been a commissioned Portrait Artist since 1981. Private and group
lessons been taught since 1983. Her work includes the R.C.M.P. images for the
Bruce Denniston calendar, and portraits of such well-known people as Pierre
Trudeau, David Suzuki, Rick Hansen, k.d. Lang and Mel Hurtig. Her paintings hang
in universities, board rooms, offices and private homes around the world.
Seward has completed thousands of works of art, working with customers to realize their ideas. Herworks range from small 11" x 15" watercolors to huge indoor and outdoor murals. Limited edition prints are prized possessions of many. Although most of her works have been portraits, she also paints exquisite landscapes and still life.
